George Katt was born in Queens, New York. He is the winner of the “Best Breakthrough Actor" Award at
the NY International Independent Film Festival for his performance as Zachary Andrews in the feature
film “Valley of Angels” opposite Danny Trejo ("Machete"); Winner of the "Best Actor in a Drama" Award at
the WorldFest International Film Festival for "Crimes Against Charlie" and recently the winner of the 2011
Outstanding Actor Award at the PCTheatre Fest NYC for his performance as Freddie Irons in Edward Allan
Baker's "Face Divided". He began his studies in New York City and his career on the New York City stages;
has guest-starred and recurred on numerous network television shows for CBS, WB, ABC, NBC, Comedy
Central & Showtime. His dedication to his craft and versatility have earned him much success in film;
playing a variety of leading male and character roles. George has several upcoming feature films slated for
worldwide release and film festival circuits. His most recent starring feature film credits include “Waiting
for the Blackout” (Winner of the 2010 Warner Bros. Film Award), “In the Gray” opposite Lee Arenberg
("Pirates of the Caribbean") & Chad Lindberg ("The Last Samurai"), “Conquering the Rose”, “In Montauk",
“Delta Zulu”, "Red Sheep", “Humdinger” opposite David Moscow; he just wrapped the starring role of in the
independent feature film "The Maladjusted"; the leading role of Mirland 'Landi' Cela opposite Ving
Rhames, Macy Gray and Omar Gooding - directed by Alex Merkin ("Across the Hall" w/Brittany Murphy)
and produced by Queen Latifah; and is currently on location filming the starring role in the feature film
"Turnabout" opposite Waylon Payne ("Walk the Line"/"Road to Nowhere") and Peter Greene ("Pulp Fiction"/"
The Usual Suspects"). George is also the Founder and Artistic Director of “THE INDIES LAB” in NYC; a
